spring blooms

Yesterday I took a walk with my youngest and her friend at a local park. It was still flooded in the lower areas due to recent rains that have followed the tornados, ice storms, and other crazy weather. (As I type this there are 15 men and 1 woman atop my roof repairing the damage done by the hail and high winds)
I am quite happy to bid "hello" to spring and look forward with hope an joy to flowers, green grass and vacations.

Yes, well I can tell this post was from last week. Last night it was what, 36F?? brrrrrr COME ON SPRING!! ;) You know it's an old wivestale that whatever weather we have on Easter is the same weather we're supposed to have for the following 7 Sundays. We had rain and snow here on Easter. We had snow the next Sunday and rain every Sunday since so far. Maybe it's true!! LOL I love the sound of gentle thunderstorms but this *just* rain is getting quite old, I agree.
